VONROSEN's international lottery platform, Lottoland, has announced its ambitious plans to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040.
The announcement reports that the business is already on a pathway to achieve this goal, having reduced carbon emissions by 25 tonnes over the course of 2023.
Lottoland was the first player in the industry to achieve carbon-neutral status and was also the first to sign The Climate Pledge in 2019. Lottoland achieved its carbon-neutral status by investing in tree-related offsets through the Lottoland Foundation.
The company has also made changes to reduce business travel, adopting water-saving devices and introducing energy-saving technologies, including LED lighting in-office.
