Power Technology has featured the strengthened collaboration between MaxSolar (a VONROSEN portfolio company) and Greenvolt Power. The partnership is accelerating the deployment of battery energy storage systems (BESS) to enhance renewable grid integration across Europe.
The partnership between MaxSolar and Greenvolt Power – a subsidiary of the Greenvolt Group – combines MaxSolar’s local expertise in renewable energy with Greenvolt’s experience of more than 4.7GW in BESS projects. The two companies recently met at MaxSolar’s headquarters in Traunstein, Bavaria, to outline concrete actions for continued collaboration.
According to MaxSolar, the partnership is already generating synergies, particularly in the procurement of storage systems. These efficiencies are contributing to reduced costs, faster deployment timelines, and scalable solutions that support Europe’s energy transition.
MaxSolar CEO Christoph Strasser and Greenvolt Power COO Jacek Bladek both highlighted the strategic importance of battery storage in creating a flexible and resilient energy system. The companies are jointly developing new grid-friendly storage solutions, including a project with Bayernwerk Netze in Bavaria, aimed at advancing Europe’s sustainable energy future.
