In an interview with Tahawultech, David von Rosen discussed the reasons he views Dubai as the next global startup capital.
He argued that Dubai is fast becoming the new global hotspot for startups and aspiring entrepreneurs, rivaling the likes of the US and Europe.
David also noted that many young, well-educated people in Dubai are hungry for work and success. This, as well as an abundance of capital and a start-up-friendly regulatory environment, places Dubai as a major competitor to the US's position as an international entrepreneurship hub.
“I think in order to become a very successful entrepreneurial hub, you need capital and talent, and I think Dubai has both in abundance. I feel there is a high-risk appetite across Dubai."

In the interview, he also reflected on the 10-year anniversary of his company, Lottoland, and his reasons for starting the company: to break the monopolies in the lottery market.
